Starting clutch job on '92 Sport. First issue is strange heads on the 4 bolts connecting drive shaft to rear diff. They are not regular hex head bolts, but appear to be fluted. Question: what special tool to remove same? Thanks.

Try a 12 point 12mm socket.

And they are stiff to get out. Locktited in from factory. You will need a good way to stop driveshaft from turning (not mention if it turns will you propel the vehicle off the jacks? Has happened many times. Hurts!

The 12 Point Wrench is the Way to go, If U have a Snap-On they have the Best Fit, (NO Stripping) Just Make sure U do everything with SAFTEY FIRST!!!!

Just block the wheels, and use the e-brake.

if you heat up the area around the bolt where it attaches to the truck... it will kind of melt the threadlock.... otherwise grunt and grunt some more cause those suckers are in there tight...

thanks for help

My metric sockets are all 6 pt. Used 12 pt combo wrench w/ cheater pipe and out they came. Thanks for the help.
