driver door lock doesn't work -

I've checked already on a few door lock topics I searched for, but I didn't found my problem...

When I hit the unlock button you can hear a noise if it trys to unlock, but it doesn't. I can't unlock it with the key, but from inside the car...

any ideas?

I just replaced my drivers side door latch. A little spring breaks. The part is about $50. Allow a couple of hours for installation.

WD40 helped!!

thanks for that link, I read it and tried it with WD40 and the key works again, it was just a little stuck. The passengers side was too, but came loose after a little wiggling... (as did the drivers door lock after this discovery!)

Now I just gotta check on the power locks, which really might be that spring or so. I will check at the weekend if I have time.
