Hey guys, I'll be driving down to Texas next week. I'm moving there actually. I had it in the dealership last week to get the AC fixed. They did an inspection and told me I needed to replace the outer tire rods. Man, I'm sick of replacing my front suspension ****! :fire: Anyone got any ideas on prices? Is it hard to do or should I just bring it to a tuffy? One other thing. I still have a bad hesitation with my engine... especially after it's warmed up and has been driving for awhile. I know there's a lot of threads on this, and I already tried some stuff. I replaced my MAF which helped a lot, but it's still bad. I tried to replaced my TPS too. I was thinking maybe the O2 sensors? Anyone got a ball park price on those? Thanks for any help! I need to get my X in tip top shape before I take it 1200 miles and drive in Texas heat.

For checking prices and availability, check the online catalogs at www.autozone.com www.partsamerica.com and www.napaonline.com
As for changing the tie-rod ends, they aren't too difficult. Most worrisome thing is how rusted on they are. You need some kind of tool ("pickle fork" or pitman arm puller) to separate the tie rod from the knuckle. This is one job I would at least try myself before taking it to someone else (except the alignment afterwards).

Well right now the Texas heat isn't in effect yet, although they say if you give it a day it may change.
