i was wondering if their is a reason why no aftermarket company has made drop spindles for expos?

will it not work because of the torsion bars?

Companies believe that there is no market for them. They aren't going to make something that, in their mind, isn't going to turn a profit. They would much rather focus on the 'mainstream' market, mostly Chevys.

Of course we all know they're dead wrong.

how much do you think, to have them produced?

why would a company make parts for an explorer when they will only sell to a few when they can be making parts for s-10's, rangers, toyota's, various other mini trucks and full sizes and be selling those parts like hot cakes.......

yeah....explorer parts will sell but not for long and not near as many customers as other vehicles.

They don't even make drop spindles for Ranger's I have looked. All the drop kits for those have new springs and different control arms. I'm pretty sure the Ranger and Explorer share the same spindel. All we need is a 2" drop spindle that would be clean. I think there are enough guys here that would pay whatever for them I sure would be going nuts for a set. I hear Explorer Underground is working on a kit for the 1995-2001 torsion bar Explorer's something like a different upper control arm maybe or even a 2" drop spindle.

The #1 selling SUV on the planet for ages and we can't get popular aftermarket products. The problem is that they think of the Explorer as a family vehicle because thats what it was originally marketed, as a 4 dr. sedan and all. We need a campaign to educate these aftermarket manufacturers. Let's start e:mailing these companies telling them what we want! Maybe John V. of Explorer Express can tell us how to go about it?

John V has tried I think. It would probably take 50,000 emails to convince them.
