Dual Exhaust?

2003 sports trac w/5 speed manual tranny...i want to upgrade to a dual exhaust system. Suggestions and opinions wanted. Thank you!!!

Heart Throb is the only dual system for sale out there although I've heard Bassini makes on too. I fabbed up my own three years ago and just bought two 2.5" eight foot sticks of pipe to fabricate a new system after I fabricate a custom steel bumper with a swing out tire carrier.

Most places will bend pipes for you but it's tight under the bed and they'll probably only wanna do 2.25" pipes, I have a body lift on mine and gives so much more room.

Yeah, either Heartthob (J.C. Whitney sells it) or custom bent. Easiest with a custom system is to use a single-in dual-out muffler. Because of the fuel tank there isn't much room for two mufflers.

check with your local muffler shop. I got a pretty good price for a flowmaster 50 SUV single in dual out system. custom fit, but not difficult for muffler people. They have a machine to bend pipes easily

i got single in and dual out 40 series flowmasters on my 01 sport not a sport trac but the tips are 2 1/2 inch tips eventually i wanna get true duals.

and i still got my spare tire on mine as well
