Dumb situation

Hello Felt that I might find and answer here....beings you are Ford folks.
I accidently dropped the bottle cap seal down the filler neck on my 86 STX
( Ranger lookalike ) and can't seem to be able to get it out of there. Manual doesn't show the same setup as mine. Any workable methods on getting it out of there ? Thanks

Are you talking about the Gas filler, or oil? Can you see the seal? If so get one of those flexible parts grabber things and get it out.. if it is in the fuel line then your best bet would be to disconnect the fuel tank hose at the fuel tank and then flush the filler hose..
