Duped into phony 'factory order'

I am beyond frustrated and at a loss of ideas... on 3/15 I went to my local Ford dealer and sat down with a salesman. I told him what I was looking for (2011 Black Ex w/ charcoal interior rapid spec 202a) they did not have the vehicle in stock, fine. They told me they would order it for me and it would arrive in 6-8 weeks, fine. Now I did my HW and went in there w/ full awareness of the current incentives. Of course I was prepared to leave a deposit. They told me they required a deposit. I put down $500 by debit card and filled out a "Vehicle Cash Purchase Agreement" form. It was poorly filled out but he assured me they would get me my Ex exactly the way I wanted. it is now 4/9 and I recently called the dealer to get an update. I found out that the salesperson I worked wit on 3/15 was 'let go' and that the form I filled out was NOT an order form and that they would contact me if/when they got in a car that matched my cirteria. BOGUS!! Now they have my $500 and I have no idea when they'll get the car or of my incentives are locked in...I have what can i do?!?!? I have documented proof the BS form and a debit card receipt w/ date/time. PLEASE HELP!!!

My suggestion
1. Speak with Owner of Dealership
2. Get back $500 deposit - you can go to any Ford dealer and pick one up
3. Call Corporate they will send you a piece of paper worth $750 - $1000 off the price of your car. No gimmicks.

My Timeline -
•I ordered mine on 10/2010 out of town.
•For months got the run around, no one knew where – what – or anything….
•My Pony was born on 28 Jan 2011.
•Didn't get it until Mar 2011.
•My Pony sat in Chicago for three weeks! Unreal!
•Caught the dealer in a lie - he was driving my car. Put 59 miles on a car that was already sold!
•Everything was ready to pick it up. Dealer had invoice in Feb 2011. Still no car!
•After talking of buying a 2011 GMC Yukon, I received another discount.
•I showed the Sales Rep the features on my ride.
•Feeling like a rock star – everywhere I go everyone is wondering what I am driving.
•Golden Bronze 2011 Ford Limited.
•Put a good wax on the body it looking NICE!

I forgot to mention that the Dealer in my town never called me back after repeated calls and email in 2010. I enjoy driving by and waving at the sales reps.

Ford has a great product and it is worth the wait. Unfortunately, the dealers and reps need prayer and help! I had to educate them on what I was buying.
I watched youtube videos and studied the website for months.

It is all worth it!
 












Price

My price was $41,680 got them down to $39,990.

This is before the rebate. I did order the bucket seats in back, my ford touch with sony, black interior, with no roof rack. The factor still put it on but saved me $160. I never put anything on top of the vechicle.

I had three rebates.
