Hey, I put some of this stuff in the bed of a ranger the other day, and I couldn't believe how fast it dried. We did it in a garage though, so those fumes of the stuff evaporating gave me a major headache. It deadens sound pretty well. Anybody know if it will adhere to plastic so I can do my hatch panel and door panels? And he took off before it dried, so I don't know if it left a smell. Will this stuff smell like rubberized undercoating, especially when it gets warm? Thanks

It will stick to ANYTHING ...

The only problem with plastic is that it might soften it causing it to go out of shape or warp before it dries. Try it on a small spot and probe it with a toothpick to see if it gets the plastic soft. All plastics are different, and it depends on the solvent used. If it looks like it is going to hold up, scuff the plastic with a scotch pad and then wipe it with alcohol. It will stick around longer than the BeeGees.

Hope it helps...

went ahead and did it a week ago on the back hatch. Yes, the stuff is sticky, yes it dries fast, man those fumes of it evaporating gave me a huge headache, In 30 degree weather it took 36 hours to completely dry. When it dries, smell is completely gone. But man, it looks like a professional painted it. Just mask the sides with tape. Spray...as uneven as you want, it isn't spray paint, and it will turn out even looking. Take the tape off, it looks awesome. I only did one layer, it did some, but I think another layer will do the trick.
