We have an 01/2002 2wd with a bad transmission, and a low mileage T-boned 07/2002 4WD with good engine/trans/transfer/diffs. The idea is to set the 2wd body on the 4wd frame and move the PCM, Pats, 4wd module, steering column, and gauges from the wrecked 4wd body to the 2wd. Ran into an odd problem, the early wiring harness seems very different, there is no harness at the blower motor for the 4wd module, is there a GEM module ? Will the early/late PCM interchange ? I've got the factory wiring manual, it's for the late wiring harness. We don't have to move all the electronics from the 4wd to the 2wd body, but, any ideas on how add the 4wd module ?

Can you just move over the harness from the 4x4?

Wish I could, The top and sides were cut off - jaws of life practice, chopping and mangling the harness in several locations in the door pillars, fire wall, etc. harness is definitely not salvageable. However, I guess I could pull a harness from a junk yard vehicle.

Does any know if there were any other wiring changes after mid 2002 until 2005 ?

The body wiring isn't recoverable, dash harness is just as bad, fuse box was destroyed on the donor truck, Does anyone know if the differences in the early and late 2002 are just in the dash harness ?
