I'm doing an EATC swap into my 1998 XLT using parts from a 1998 Limited. I got everything hooked up, but it only blows air in full blast mode, no matter what mode I am in. What was supposed to do with the RD/OR wire? At the fan controller I just left it not hooked up... what should I hook it too?
This wouldnt be so bad if the blend door wasn't stuck between heat and a/c so the air comes out lukewarm. I keep pulling 024 and 025 codes and I have replaced the actuator with a brand new one, but there is no movement of the blend door actuator, even outside of its housing. I've checked the wiring with a volt meter and this is what I got
O/BL- Ground
O- .51 V
DB/LG- .51 V
LG/B- 5.00 V
BR/W- --- V
Am I supposed to get that kind of voltage on both of the motor drive wires at the same time?
If anyone can help it is much appreciated.
