EB and LTD computer install on a XLT?

has anyone fitted a computer from the eddie bauer or the limited explorer on a model without one. i would really like to do this but want to know if it is possible and what all is involved in the process. if anyone can take pictures of their message center that would rock so i could see what the bottom of it looks like. so if anone cann help please post. all i really want is a miles left in gas tank and a miles per gallon deal. if yall know of anything else that will do this other than a calculator let me know because those are the only features i want.

Major, if you do a search for "message center" there are numerous posts. I found one Dead Link Removed that says that it can be done, but it seems to be a time consuming project. Good luck !!
