fuse blows when I turn the key to the on position. Not even getting to start.

Anyone ever have issues with wiring who might hae a likely spot to check or any other ideas?

TIA :us:

Seem like you have short somewhere. I tried looking for ECE but don't know what that is. I am thinking you grounded a wire or uses wrong fuse (low amp rating).

I'd bet he meant EEC fuse.
there are several possible reasons for the EEC fuse to blow, and I don't think any one of them is more likely than another. Here's how I would proceed:
1) Get a wiring diagram. EEC fuse feeds the EEC relay which in turn feeds several EEC components (Transmission solenoid, computer, MAF, etc., etc.).
2) Then get a meter and start probing the circuit to find out where the short is.

found it, someone had put the knock sensor in wrong and the connector shorted on the EGR pipe till it burned thru it.
One of the best damn trouble shooting tips I found on another board that helped, use a headlight with jumpers in place of the blowing fuse, when the short is located the light goes out! Wored great for me wiggling wires and stuff!
