Edlebrock IAS VS. Explorer ProComp ES3000 shocks

anyone had either of these shocks please comment on them. The Explorer procomps are $29.95/shock and the Edelbrocks are $69.95/shock Please help me justify paying the extra $40 per shock. If not then are the Procomp shocks good? They claim to have a 10 stage velocity sensing valve system, but would it be as good as the edelbrocks?!

I don't know about the Explorer procomps, but I do know about the Edelbrocks, and they are very good shocks. I had Edelbrocks before I got the Old Man Emu Nitro Chargers. The Nitro Chargers are the only other shock I liked better than the Edelbrocks.Are they worth it, yes.

Just remember that in most cases you get what you pay for. This is one of those times where that is true. The Edelbrocks are worth it. You won't regret it.

The explorer procomps are OK, but I'm planning to replace them with something better. The edelbrocks are supposed to be kickass, but I'm poor.

I got my edlebrocks last year from carpartsonsale.com for about $55 each. I think they were about $52 plus shipping. I don't know if that price is still accurate, but give 'em a try. Good luck,

Unfortunatly they are up about $15 :-(. i wish I could get a set for $55 each..oh well, thanks for he info!

As soon as I read Nick's post here I remembered seeing it to...try this link for the rebate Dead Link Removed
