Well, bought this kit over a year ago from tim, vroomzoomboom, been so busy with work I haven't been able to get it installed, well I'm making the time now!

So far still in the disassembly process but it's gettin there. I figured i'd take some pics along the way.

Only planning on 5-6 psi, I know I know, that's what everyone says at first, 5-6 turns into 7-8 turns into 10. Im keeping it 5-6 psi while I plan for my ultimate goal... coyote :) but that's a long way down the road. Anyways I still need to get an adapter for the air filter, an intake tube, 75mm throttle body, and fans and resevoir for the after cooler system which I'm still not sure if I'm going to use or not. Wideband is already installed. I need to figure out if and how the iat sensor I installed in the plenum post blower is going to work. Let me kniw what ya guys think

All I can say is I'm uber jealous!

Yah, I didn't plan on getting it when I first saw the kit go up for sale but I talked to the seller and ended up making it work. Keep your eye out, these kits don't pop up often but they do occasionally pop up. Then someone will be Uber jealous of you SoHK

funny, i was just thinking the other day i wondered if you had put that on yet or not. remember, just like i said before, if you need help or have a question, just because its been a year since you bought it, "tech support isnt closed" lol
even more funny, i am trying to now get a m122 for my truck to replace the m112, which replace this one!
it doesnt end. the first time you hear that thing whine, your going to be hooked. just warning you ;)

oh, and one other thing i will suggest if i didnt in the past. ditch all the ford vacuum lines, and get all rubber hoses. it will look tidier in the end

Yah, I was gonna Txt ya but I figured you'd chime in. I'm sure i'll be needin some help. How did you do your intake tube? 90mm maf to 4 " tube to 4-3.5 adapter to 75mm throttle body? It'd be nice to find a smoother transitioning tube to go from 4" to 3.5" than an adapter.

going from the filter back, the filter is a 3 1/2 inch opening (i would have to run outside to make sure, but its dark, cold, and im in my pj's....to much info right there i'm sure) to the filter adapter that bolts to the MAF (which is also 3 1/2 inch) then to a silicone connector (3 1/2 opening). i then got a 3 1/2 inch 45 mandrel truck exhaust tube and cut it down to size (you can paint it, powder coat it, and might be able to get one in chrome to) then to a 3 1/2 inch to 3 inch silicone connector to the throttle body.
when i get home from work tomorrow and if i remember i will pull it off and measure it just to make sure. i had bought the maf adapter from henson performance (who is no longer around) but you should be able to find one locally or on ebay.
one thing i cant remember if i had told you that i thought of now, if you use that cooler, your going to have to mess around with your egr tube coming off the manifold, or remake the throttle body elbow i gave you because everything will sit 2 inches higher.

For some reason I had it in my head that 90mm was 4 inches, haha. So I'm going to need a 3.5" tube with a 3.5- 3" adapter. The only thing keeping me from intercooling for sure is that I don't know if that intercoolers ability to lower intake temp will outweigh the pressure drop, it's not a very big intercooler so Idk how well it will cool the charge, was thinking bout going water injection down the road.

my bad
its all 4 inch, then the silicone step down hoes is 4 inch to 3 1/2

Ok, what's everyone doing for an aftermarket throttle body? I haven't had any luck finding one. Everybody modifying 5.0 Mustang throttle bodies?

Cool, thanks tim. Well, came up to northern nevada for a cell tower that became priority. If my f550 would stop sliding in all this snow i might be able to make it to the site haha. Install will continue on Thurs. Will keep ya posted

Iat post blower is what you need, no worries

Decipha, I drilled and tapped a hole and threads for the iat sensor in the lid of the supercharger adapter/manifold that bolts to the lower so yes, it will be post blower. I also bought the connector for that specific iat sensor, I just hope when I wire it to my existing iat wires that it plays nice. If not I will have to figure out a way to make the stock iat sensor work in that lower plenum

I guess we posted at the same time tim, haha. Anyways that's exactly what I did, mine may be an inch closer to the blower but same exact thing.

Well got a little bit done today, finished removing everything off of the plenum, and got it off. Never thought i'd miss my 4.0 till working on this thing. Pita. Got the 42# green tops in and the supercharger adapter base and lid on

This is my favorite pic but sadly the one below is how I'm leaving her till next time.

Still need supercharger oil, relocate egr solenoid and back pressure transducer, figure out vacuum lines, and finish install. I'm still trying to decide wether or not to use the aftercooler. I'd rather not if the temp decrease isn't going to over come the pressure drop in terms of power. The aftercooler just seems to be to small to have a worthy cooling effect but I could be completely wrong. Hopefully someone with a similar set up or even similar size aftercooler could chime in.

looking at the first picture there gives me flashbacks when i put that on. it took me about a week (i think) from start to finish to get it all apart, and back together and thought the same thing. what a pita. i got it down to a few hours after i had it apart and back on a few times.
i see you still have the small pulley on, are you going to go with it now? if not, and your going to run the bigger pulley (the 6 psi one), i wouldnt worry about the cooler. it will be fine. if your going to run the smaller pulley, and your going to get it tuned (i would recommend it) and the tuner doesnt go nuts with the timing, you should be ok. i never did use that, and Dono had that made for his 4L ohv truck from rpcaster (and don never did put it on his truck either). if you do use it, you will end up cutting the hood...a rare hood as well, unless you grab one from the junkyard.
another thing i will say is put the EE elbow on the supercharger before you bolt the supercharger down, i may be a ***** to get it on after. i never did unbolt it the entire time i had it, and when i did have to pull everything apart for whatever reason, i unbolted the egr from the stock elbow, and pulled the supercharger, both EE and stock elbow and stock tb off in one shot if that helps you.

edit. sorry, i pulled the tb off or i would never have been able to get at the back lower bolt for the supercharger. with that said as well, pull the little valve off the fuel rail (the one that kinda looks like the valve on your tires) when you go to put that back bolt in. it will probably save you 30 mins of your life full of frustration that you will never get back, and that doesnt could the alcohol you will consume as well.

The intercooler came from rpcaster. I didn't use it as I just kinda moved on to other things.

There is significant effort to installing it. My biggest hurdle/objection was cutting up a hood. I'm sure you are thinking the same thing.

As far as efficiency? We don't know. What we do know is that your m90 will be making lots of hot air, and motor's don't like that. If you are going over 6psi of boost, you should really use it. Even if you get temps down 15 degree's at wot, that's a huge win.

Its nice to see another forced induction build happening.

I wish i could get mine done that fast, if im lucky i get one sunday a week to work on it because of work and weather. I plan on only running the large pulley. I don't really wanna push it as far as longevity goes with that much boost. I do want to keep the air charge as cool as possible which is why I'm still on the fence bout the after cooler. I'm still going to have it tuned for the 90mm maf and 42# injectors. Torrie from Unleashed will be doing the tuning. I already have a spare hood I've been messing with for clearance just incase I decide to use the after cooler i'll put some pics below
