EGR Valve

Hi,98 xlt just had the check engine light come on and the guys down at auto zone said it was a egr, insufficient flow, and it had two registries of it. was wondering what i should do, replace, clean, has anyone else ran into this?

I had the same thing on my EGR, but after some research I found out it was not the EGR but the DPFE sensor. I replaced it about 3 weeks ago and the check engine light has not come back on since.
Try doing a search on here, there is plenty of info on this.
