elec t-case to manual?

does anyone know if you can convert an electronic t-case to a manual without changing t-cases. if the electronic uses a motor, why could you just remove the motor and install a lever?

do a search for this there was a few threads talk about the whole swap. and there are those on this site who have done the switch. i think it actually uses a vaccuum motor to switch it over. im sure you could put a lever in place of the motor some how but it probably takes waaay to much fab work to make it worth it. good luck!

sorry to disapoint you, but you have to replace the entire transfer case. the motor is mounted on the opposite side of the transfer case than the lever is. it would be very hard to convert, if not impossible.
