Elevated Bed Rack (over wheel wells)

I was wondering if anyone else has built a rack over the wheel wells of there sport trac. I was thinking of taking two 2x6 and mounting a closet organizer shelf upside down on them to put my medical gear bags on in order to keep them from sliding around in the bed. I have an OEM bed cover.

If you have built such an organizer please post a pic if you dont mind.

They make a divider but it's vertical, goes right under the hinge. Rarely ever see them though.
