I was on this site quite a bit with my first explorer and 9 cars later have another so i figure its time to join. This ones a little less fun than my 96xlt with the 5.0 but its nice to be back in one.
Now I have a 95 2dr sport 2wd with the 4.0. Dont plan on many mods like the old one (had to rebuild the top end due to overheating and ended up with gt40 heads shaved and polished intake, sideswept flowmaster h pipe and custom fiberglass hood with functional scoop).
Still this ones got good paint, a new tranny, alternator and compressor and after a lil detailing it cleaned up nicely. And for a thousand bucks (auction) who can beat that?

thanks guys and none as of yet. its your run of the mill black sport. p/o put in some yellow fogs (notched the f-ing bumper to make them fit) but otherwise boring. Im more in shock that I got one as OE as I did Im assuming it has been adult owned (still scratching my head about the fogs tho)
Only thing ive done is an oil change with synthetic, k&n (on every car Ive ever owned), and I put in a CD player. Smooth running truck though and one hell of a dd. Im getting about 18mpg city (granted I drive like an old lady) but for a 40mile drive both ways daily its a welcome change from my 94 YJ on 35's...
