All of this info is being sought after for second AND third gen Explorers.Mainly, if you were doing a V6 to V8 swap on either gen.
Are there any differences between the factory frame mounting positions for the engine mounts on V6 and V8 Explorers, are they in the same positions? Are the engine mounts the same for V6 and V8 explorers, or are there differences?
Lastly, what are the differences between the V6 and V8 explorers aside from the engine? I had read the steering shaft and rack are different. Does anyone know what those differences are?
