DomesticGaskets?

The part brand is listed as Domestic Gaskets. I seriously doubt that Domestic Gaskets (one store in Calif and an eBay store) manufacture the kit. The kit is probably manufactured by a foreign supplier of questionable reputation. I would not expend the time to replace the timing chains and risk my engine on some cheap, unknown product of unknown reliability. See SOHC V6 Timing Chain Parts Sources

I used a kit similiar to that from Sealing Tek. If you use that kit make sure the lower timing chains sit in the center of the guides when you are installing them. If they don't you will have to bend the brackets slightly to line everything up correctly. The jackshaft to camshaft cassettes should be fine. Let us know how everything goes.....;)

How many miles you have on that Sealing Tek?

I contact that member who bought from 4USA since I saw one on ebay for $120 from 4USA. Waiting for his pm back to see if he had issue with 4USA since he install last year.

Explorer is going sit for now:( Replace with 99 F250 that was out retirement for 13 months.

I'm only on my 2nd tank of gas after my rebuild.

A 99 F250 in Australia is a $75,000 Vehicle. I would love one of those but sadly can't afford it. I asked to take one for a test drive once and the guy at the dealership just looked at me funny.

Milwaukee, what year is your X? The ebay link in your first post is for an SOHC 4.0, which was first introduced in 97. And i see under your name it lists a 94 X, which would be an OHV 4.0. Unless the motor was swapped to the OHC or im just missing something lol

I have done a fair bit of business with Domestic Gaskets. The engine kits i have gotten from them have all included top notch parts, such as fel-pro gaskets and sealed power bearings. Some of the components have been imported, but well known brands in the import communities (my kits were for a Geo and a Dodge avenger which is the same as a mitsubishi eclipse) One thing though, they wont give manufacturers of the specific parts in some cases as they may have multiple vendors and ship what is in stock. The important things in that kit i would guess they only have one supplier and would then be able to get you a part number to do some research on. Another thing to mention is that their customer service is top notch. When my last kit got stolen after the UPS guy left it on my porch they immediatly sent me a new one, before UPS even started their "investigation" Take this with a grain of salt though, as none of the kits i bought from them had timing chains, but the 2nd kit did include a gatorback timing belt.

94 Explorer been gone for almost 2 years now.

It for 1999 explorer 4.0L SOHC

I going search for reviews on parts to see if it worth.

In regards to the cheap Sealing tech timing chain kit from Ebay (and probably china) I have currently done 60,000 kilometers with it with no problems so far. It regularly gets exposed to severe driving conditions and has endured almost two years of neglect.
