Engine swap time

Just checking on one other item if anyone knows. How about the 2010 4.0l with the oil cooler, will that one work?? Can I just remove the oil cooler or is this one like on the cobra engines that built into the block???

I put an engine from an 2010 ranger 4.0 sohc in my 2003.

Did you run into any problems putting the 2010 engine in your 2003 truck?

no problems to 10 engine is working great right now, just make sure when you buy spark plugs make sure you buy them for the year of the engine block and not the year of the truck. I found out the hard way. I had 03 plugs in the 10 engine and ran great untill truck came up to temperature than lost power, I put the right plugs in and never had a problem scince.

My 2010 in 03 swap have been working out pretty well also, I have a vac leak but I think it may be in the intake. Outside of that its been running great.
