engine troubles

Havin a little problem. When I start, the engine does not come up to normal idle speed. Sometimes though, if I press the accelerator while starting, the idle will jump up and then stay around 2500, decreasing only after driving a few minutes. Could this be the throttle linkage? Any ideas?

could be the ball link is sticking, could also be a sticking IAC

I think a new IAC will solve the problem.

I agree with Aldive...IAC, easy to clen, easy to replace.
