- 06 ford explorer 4.0 sohc
back in February I replaced the front timing chains both of them on a sohc 4.0 explorer 06 I left the engine in the truck had a time putting it back together when I went to start it I got two solid cranks then it died I replaced the starter and battery now when I stick the key in the check engine is on the battery light is on and the check electrical system is on when my dad was messing with the starter he hit it with a screw driver notsure if that messed up the electrical system any ideas on where to begin
