I've heard of people who istall stuff like Playstation 2 in their trucks.
Cool, now...
What about the power supply?
Electronics like game consoles run on 130V (230V over here in Switzerland).
How do you power such a thing with a 12V battery?
Do they have extra batterys installed?
If I get a 230V System onboard I will install a Macintosh in my X!:D
So, how do I do it?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

The way to get the 115v power is via an inverter. You can get them that simply plug into a 12v outlet in your truck, or you can hard wire one ( this is what I did ).

Good luck....

hard wiring is the way to go. especially if you are actually installing something (like a PS2) in your vehicle.

maybe the inverters in europe have a higher voltage...
