As I was on the emotional high of having swapped out my non-working leccy aerial for a flexi-fixed one, I decided to tackle the radio (Ford 7000 HU with no display but otherwise works).
Epic fail as I cannot find my torx tool to get at the torx bolts to access the innards of the device to attempt a fix. I now realise that I have a radio, with a non-working display, that when put back into the car will need the code entering - but without display I'm not going to have much luck
(I realise I can read the manual on how to enter the code etc. but I really should have checked I had the necessary tools to hand before I went ahead and pulled it all out
)
Happy Bank Holidays to everyone though!
