Here the story
While driving the truck, I experienced a decress in my gas mileage over a 2 week period, and thought I just needed to take it out on the highway a bit more. SO... on monday the Service Engine Light came on and took it today to a shop to get the code read and I got P1451 (unidentified code) -__- After another headache, I took it to another shop they told me and they identified the problem which is a EVAP situation. I talked to my friend which is a mechanic and told me that it could be a bad valve..solenoid EVAP purge, or corroded wires, PLEASE, im trying to see in anyone else have any solutions, because if I take it to Ford, there gunna want 450.00 plus the 110.00 to do a diagnostic to be sure. PLEASE HELP ME, MY WALLET, AND MY TRUCK :-(
