- 1998 explorer xlt 5.0
I may be posting in the wrong area, but I'm just curious if any of you are familiar with Nissan xterras, and their titan swaps. And more importantly, if anyone has ever done anything similar with our explorers.
For those of you that don't know, the Nissan titan control arms are longer, and drop lower than the second gen xterras, but bolt right in. Then people take the half shafts from a v8 pathfinder and swap those in since they're longer than the xterras.
It's a relatively inexpensive way to get a lot of suspension lift on an xterra. I'm just curious if there's ever been any attempts at something similar, and how it went, what the problems were.
I'm guessing it's not feasible since I've never seen anything about it on here, but who knows.
