nice find. I was looking for something like this earlier. Ill let someone else chime in if they know for sure it will fit.

Edit looks like it is for the OHV engine. I could be wrong , but I think it wont fit.

Nope, won't work. Honestly if you wanna really open your exhaust up and make it sound sweet and not like a ricer V6 then get in touch with either Todd Z or George C over at Zabteck, they sell the goodies for our Trac's. I have the Randomn Technology stainless steel pre-cat delete Y-pipe and stainless steel high Flow Cat (single, not dual like stock) they are 50 state legal and won't rust. The Cat also has the exit pipe opened up to 2.5" from the stock 2.25". It is pricey but you gotta remember that it's stainless, it's actually cheaper then buying original parts. Best mod I did to my Trac as far as drivetrain wise for the money.

Here's a link to the Unleashed Tuning and Zabteck...

Ok so those will work without allot of problems that was my whole goal anyway thanks.

Yeah, the RT parts I said I have on mine are made for the ST.

Did you have to do any mil eliminators or anything. My ST is a California model and has 4 convertors and a muffler and a resonator. Don't want ricey or too loud but would like more flow.

honestly i hear that the stock cats are pretty free flowing but if you get rid of any that the best on to loose is the pre cats by using the random tech y pipe. compound that with a tuner and its the two best performance mods you can do.

the O2 sensors are upstream of the cats you are referring to and the one that determines cat effeciency is down stream after the first large cat. so i wouldnt think that the MIL light would go off but i can not confirm that

you can use spark plug anti foulers to keep the mil light off. As long as they are for the down stream O2 sensors

No mil lights, it's 50 state legal, even Califorinia. It deletes the two pre Cats on the y pipe and the second main cat is deleted. It has the bungs for all the O2's so no worries about that. Most people think I have a SBF in in and not a V6. No rice here.

hey i love me some chinese food right now this deployment doesnt have any asian food.

oh wait you mean the car..... lol

im doing my own pre cat delete when i get stateside

Midnightrebel07 any sound clips of your truck.

No, sorry, my iPhone cuts the sound off everytime I try to video it, too loud. There's videos of the Caspirus Mine Trail run in the offroad trail section, it kinda sucks though because I had the cb on and have a bad ground so it sucks.

Forum rules.... no discussion of emission equipment! A couple of these posts are tipping over the edge but there's some good alternatives in this thread so it'll stay for now. No more "removal" talk, ok?

sorry steve if i was the one involved in these forum rule violations.

I let it ride since the truck will still pass emissions with the Random Tech Y-pipe as long as the main cat is still on.
