A cat back exhaust system not only replaces the muffler but uses larger diameter piping. Its the way to go definately; however, consider a local exhaust shop making a custome one for you rather than paying for some "name" system.
So, I'm guessing that will give me better air flow and increased horsepower right? All the shops around here won't do that. It's hard enough just getting them to put a muffler on. They're afraid that they will mess up I guess. I've got a glasspack on there now.
mine is the flowmaster 50 series dual in/ dual out. had the pipes custom made and couldnt be happier. you should be able to find someone to do it. just about every shop near me would do it... even midas. all about the same price but there was only one guy that would do it with the spare tire in so i went with that. good luck.
