exhaust

wellmy explorer sounds stupid....sounds like a pissed off weed wacker and i was wondering what i should do...it has straight pipes on it with some kinda of like cherry bombthings they are not that brand but they are short and i think thats what makes the sound....should i just get a muffler and cut the exhaust to fit?

Check out the "How to install a Flowmaster muffler" thread that's stickied at the top. I plan on doing that myself when money allows, too bad I have waaaay to many other projects on my X to upgrade my stock muffler.
