I recently purchased a 2001 Explorer with an aftermarket sunroof. I've bought an overhead console for this model and took it to Mobile Electronics for installation. The installer is hesitating to do the installation because he thinks the console won't fit. He didn't pull the headliner down but he thinks the unit is too long. Is there any way to determine that it will fit other than cutting the headliner? Has anyone installed one with an aftermarket sunroof?
