Explorer engine swap information in needed.

thanks for these kind of forums. i am a ford guy - 1984 tbird 5.0 show car.
my sons 1998 5 speed standard 4X4 4.0 explorer went through deep water & seized the engine.
i would like to know what engines will bolt to the transmission without modifications. example = ranger 4.0 - 4.3

Welcome... you might have to try searching for it ... i'm sure somebody has info about that on here.

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the stock 95-01 section. Get another 4.0L engine, but make sure that you get the correct one (OHV or SOHC).
