Hi,
I'm Teresa, married with two fur babies, and bought an used '99 XLT on May 9th '07. This is only my second 4WD, and my up-teenth Ford. I traded in my '96 Mercury Sable LS, and miss the heated leather seats, but not the over-rated JBL Premium sound system.
I first bought a Ford Tempo in '92 and since have owned several others including a 1994 Ford Taurus GL SW; 210,000 miles with originial engine, and tranny. This is my "ol' faithful", we drive monthly, sometimes several days at a time. In between I've owned a Chevy, Nissian (4WD), & a Subaru but kept my wagon.
I'm disabled, due to a joint disease, so needless to say we have a tight budget, and I try to learn everything I can about my vehicles so I can avoid expensive trips to a mechanic, and looking dumb in front of others.
I look forward to spending time here!
