explorer throttle body

I have a 04 4.0 explorer and wanted to know if anyone has used a bbk mustang tb 70mm from what I was reading the 4.0 tb is the same used in our explorer

I would assume you would be able to put any mustang parts for the 4.0L engine on our 04-05 Explorer 4.0's because they are the same engine, just different upper intake manifolds

Me being someone who has modded cars before, doing one thing will not do you any good. Like an intake. It wont do any good without an exhaust. So my suggestion to you is if you do the TB, get an intake and an exhaust on there, then I am almost certain you will notice a difference.

It bolts straight on, if you want to just get a larger throttle body the cheap route is get it ported and get a bigger throttle flap.

this should go good with my s3 tuner and my magnaflow exhaust......if only k and N made a intake for it
