Fabtech coil-overs

Just recieved my Aug. edition of Off-Road Adventures. They have an article called....Fabtech's 2005 Super Duty Coilover Shock Conversion System. Its for the Ford Super Duty trucks. It replaces the stock Super Duty coil spring buckets. It comes in a 2.5 or a huge 4.0 shock. The way its made it looks like it could be used on other trucks without to much modifications. Kinda Generic

Any idea on a price? Sounds pretty cool, but is it a million bajillion dollars because it's a "bolt-on" coil over kit?

No I don't but I bet its a pretty pennie. Going to Carlisle Pa tommorow, maybe they might have a vendor there, I'll check on it.

yeah, I read that article as well.

Looks good and all, but Fabtech overall is overpriced in my mind, so I'm sure these will follow suit

i have not heard anything too good or too bad from fabtech. i think having a 4.0 is a little over the top for just a bolt on CO for a lift though. the only 4.0 shock ive heard of is the King Kong and that is for serious desert racing. personally i would lean more away from the generic fabtech lift kits and try to find something more suited for my truck, but then again thats just my opinion...
