Factory radio w/mp3 capabilty

Several years ago, the Ford dealer had a exact replacement radio/tape/cd combo that had mp3 capabilities and had a "neat" color faceplate.


Does anyone know if they are still available somewhere?

Yes, they still have them. Although I've lost the website I had for them. There are quite a few on Ebay. I opted for one from a Ranger because I wanted Text capabilities that the MachMP3(the one you're talking about) doesn't.

I got mine on ebay quite a bit cheaper though.

Do you know if they interface with the sub?

Not sure. I know the one I have will not. Email the guy who runs that site. He's very knowledgeable about them.
