I lost one of the reflectors in the satin-metal strip on the rear bumper of the 07 Mountaineer Premiere, and I have a replacement, but I can't figure out how it attaches.
One end has a hooked bracket that slips into a rectangular hole. Got that. The other end has this prong:
that just goes into a hole. But that end flops around loose. The parts diagram doesn't show any clip or retainer, and I'm not sure if you can get to the back of the bumper to install a clip anyway.
There's no trace of any trim adhesive on the bumper, so before I resort to that, what am I missing here?
