- 2004 Ford Explorer
Greetings from the Great White North.
I'm a long time classic muscle car guy who sort of stumbled into a 2004 Explorer two summers ago. Reader's Digest version is I sold my 1996 Chev Z-71 two days before going on vacation, and my youngest brother just so happened to have the Explorer for sale..
Oh lucky me!!
It's the Eddie Bauer version, loaded, V6 engine and is the first one I've owned.
The deal was done in (not Denmark) on a bright and sunny day, so off I went to a Buick Performance Group soiree in Hebron, Ohio. I took it down the drag strip a few times in a blistering low 18 seconds!
My current other car is a 65 Buick Gran Sport, 4 speed with dual 4 bbls. It has most every available option as well and is a blast to drive!!
Anyway, enough diatribe for now, as it's time to begin wandering through the site. I do have an issue with the AC/heat fan, but I'll search for the solution.
Glad to be part of the group!
Tom
