Finally got the Goliath back from the dead...

Well when i bought it it blew up when power hit it, 3months later i finally get it back, but seems fedex played some football with it, so it went out once more for a new heatsink and endplates and fixed a bent terminal on it

now it is back, so me=happy ::

I'm thinking about doing two 15's in the back of my '03...I'm thinking upfiring with port firing back...opinions?

Thanks I'll try that, but I'm trying to determine if two 15" AA Arsenals would be louder than my 12" AA Avalanches. I can get both the Arsenals for $250 shipped (I already have one) and I can sell one of my Avs to make up for part of it, but I'm trying to figure out if it'd be worth it. I have to make a new box, but do you have any opinions? I know the Avs are better, but the Arsenals have a lot more displacement and they'd be in a bigger box with a lot of port area, but slightly less power...

in the new model explorers, sub back and port back is louder daily, ive been told that by a good many people that have tested with them

2 15s would be louder than 2 12s even though the ava's are a little better, they arnt that much better

what are you looking for in a new system, FI has some nice offering that are pretty cheap as well

Well I wanted it to be louder, but retain similar SQ. The reason I was going for subs upfiring is so that I could squeeze the box underneath the cargo cover for some stealthiness...otherwise 15" is the highest I can get, and I'd need like 17 for them to fit, and I don't want to deal with angled corners and crap.

I've looked at the FI stuff, but I already picked up one of the 15s, originally for a friend, but I found a second for the same price and couldn't pass it up. So I'm trying to sell my friend one of my Avalanches (he's being a ***** about it since he won't get a 15 anymore haha) to make up for part of it.
