Help !!!

The kid was doing a favor to surprise me and messed up the wires !!!

What is the correct firing order for my 91 4.0 V-6

The order is 1-4-2-5-3-6

But this won't help you on the placement of the wires on the coil pack. On my '95, which is the same engine, the wires go directly from the placement on the pack to the engine.

But, if I remember correctly, on a '94 that I did, the placement of 5 and 6 were swapped on the pack in regards to the placement on the engine.

Yes, basically, I am no help to you. Look to make sure that the numbers aren't marked on the coil pack itself. Hopefully, this will just act as a bump for you.
