I need to know if all transfer cases # are the same, i mean for the same model, cause i need the transfer case # and model, for my explorer is a 96 XLT, automatic, 4 x 4. if you need more info just post it :exporange

The transfer case in your truck is the borg Warner 4405.. Lets move this to General Explorations or the Under Hood & Drivelines forum.
