Hello to everyone. I am Quinn. I'm the original owner of a 1996 V-6 explorer XL. Have gotten a lot of good info(and a little bad)from this site. Grateful to those who monitor and maintain the site. After 245,000 miles it is time to let go. It's been sitting for 6 years and I finally got in a position to spend some time and a little money to get it going so I can sell it. I put a battery in it and cranked twice for about 4 or 5 seconds it stumbled and then started right up! It's always been a good vehicle but I was amazed. my wife drove it 10 years then I bought her a 2006 Explorer, my daughter took over till she got a newer car six years ago. I'm going to peruse the site to see if my problems have already been addressed. if I can't specific info I guess I start a new thread? Thanks in advance.
