Hi, new to the board. Just posting to get rid of the New Member message basically.
My story:
Bought a 1991 Explorer 4 door from a lot for $500. Engine was blowing blue, brakes were seized, barely made it into the garage.
Replaced the engine with a low mileage '94 unit I picked up for $200
Replaced the front end with a early Bronco Dana 44, and did a spring over on the rear with some added Ranger leafs.
Replaced the auto transmission and electronic T-case with a 5 speed and manual transfer case.
Added a Aussie locker in the rear and 33" TSL's. Oh, and army green Krylon paint job.
That's where I'm at right now. Soon to come: Rhinolined interior, sliders, bumpers, and winch.
