Hey guys. I'm kinda new here and have some questions about my ford explorer. It's a 2000 xls, automatic transmission with a flashing o/d light. The transmission was replaced about 18 months ago and was running fine until my motor blew. The motor has been replaced but now the o/d light started flashing. My mechanic replaced a solenoid and everything seemed to be okay but then the truck started to stall at lower speeds. The transmission fluid was really dirty so the mechanic added sea foam to clean out the transmission. After running the truck for a couple of weeks, the transmission fluid and filter were changed and again the truck seemed to run okay but the o/d light is still flashing (only in Drive). The weird thing is that when I turn on theheadlights, the o/d light stops flashing.
Any advice would be welcome.
