I was tired of never being able to find my flash light in my truck. So I drew this bracket in CAD and cut it on my plasma table. A few bends and small welds to give it strength and it was ready. I removed the front two bolts that hold the drivers seat and then inserted the bracket and the reinstalled the bolts.

I have a D cell maglight so I ordered the proper mounting brackets from amazon. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00002N9ER?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00 Then I used self taping screws to mount these to the bracket I made.

Here it is with the flashlight in place. It is easily removed while sitting in the seat or pulled out if I am outside of the truck. It is also easy to put back for the next time it is needed.

Nice!

I see you never did lift your seat. Remember we talked about that years ago? Making little 1" lift brackets for the driver seat?

With the buckets I have it would put my head in the roof. Maybe if I had the factory seats I would still consider it. I hate the seats I have now. One of these days I hope to get some better ones.

Oh, I couldn't tell from the pics that they are not the stock 60/40 Ranger seats. Carry on! ;)
