FLOWMASTER ORIGINAL 40s And WHEEL Questions

Hi guys,
Its time to start modifying the X and the first thing im starting with is Exhaust and Intake. I definietly know i want a flowmaster original 40 series single in duel out. Heres the question though, I can get brand new 40 series with 3"inch inlet and 2.5" outlet for $44.99 , but due to back pressure i would have to get the pipes downsized. On the other hand i can get one with 2.5" inlet and 2.5" duel outlet for $106.99 but no downsizing. Is it worth getting it for 40 bucks and downsizing or spending the 106 bucks and no downsizing????

And also , I wanna get Cobra wheels should i get 18's or 20's???
I'm not sure weather 18"s are big enough since some cars come stock with 16"s and 17"s.....but im gonna be driving alot so if you guys think 18s are better let me know

For the wheels, I'd go with the 18s.

Why? are they better on the rode for when you hit potholes or something?

hey id go for the cheaper flowmaster ive got the same one and its awsome its much cheaper geeting a reducer than buying one for over a hundred most muffler shops should have reducers and their only a couple bucks id go for 20's the ride would still be good and they look much better than 18's

ok so definetly go with the cheaper one .....if thats the care I'll order it right now.
And for wheels . I'll get 20"s if i can find the 20"Cobras with tires already on them
