so two days ago i got my ex stuck in some deep water. water was probably up to bottom of headers at most. i flushed oil out three times and put heavier oil in truck. i can drive for a mile at most before the oil pressure starts to bounce around and eventually loses pressure. and i have a ticking coming from the drivers side that as i accelerate the noise gets louder even when i have oil pressure. any advice would be greatly appreciated thank you:)

Could be a sticky lifter.
You may find all will be good if you go back to 5W30 or 0W30 if that is recommended for your climate. That is the weight these engines were designed to use and i have read of people havin problems when they thought they were doin the right thing by goin heavier for an older engine, but all cleared up when they returned to 5W30.
You could give it a go with some cheap 5W30 and if it works then invest in some quality fully synthetic.
