Fog Light button light

The fog light button on my dash will indicate its on (by the light that lights up when its pressed). But the indicator of which button it actually is (the symbol that should be illuminated at all times, doesnt work. I got it to work at one point by hitting the dash right beside it. But havent been able to duplicate the results.

My question is, how hard is it to change the bulb? While im doing this, is it better to start the switch over to all LED's

I've had the same issue for almost a year now with the same button when the headlights come on, thus all the interior components light up too. It's easy to pop the whole radio & HVAC square housing from the dash, but I'm not really sure how to change the actual bulb. I'm hoping a knowledgeable person has an answer to this so that I can reap the benefits too.
