seems very high,
http://www.danielsternlighting.com/tech/aim/aim.html

adjust the headlight assembly adjusters to middle, refit, then aim projectors in the housing properly before fixing them in postion. That way when the lights are sealed up, there still will be room for final adjustment.

Yeah, they shouldn't even be that high even when aimed at 25 ft, which is the distance I usually use to judge. You're going to be lighting up trees.

Off the topic, I got my bixenon harness today and hooked it up, but no high beams. I also blew a fuse and don't have any replacements yet so I can't aim them tonight. Anybody know about the high beams. The plug on the new harness is black on the left, blus middle and orange on right. thats if youre staring at the plug with the locking tab on top.

switch the wires around

switch the wires around

lol. my "mind bullets" only reach so far...can you elaborate on which wire to switch. i swapped(cant remember which ones now) them around and blew two different fuses.

awesome! maybe i was switching the wrong ones earlier. ill give it one more try in the morning. i hope all goes well. thanks

got them seal up,dried, aimed and mounted!! cutoff pics to come when i can find a nice dark wall to project on. anyways, here it is!

i blew a fuse in mine too when i first got my bixenon harness hooked up, and it was the 9007 connector was pinned wrong which caused the fuse to blow. repinned it, replaced the blown fuse (can't remember which one it was but i can find out if you need) and everything works good now!!

ur retro looks great too!!!

thanks! im quite proud of myself.lol. and yep, my harness was 9004, so a repin was a must. i had to rig the projector solenoids myself cause my connector didnt match the harness, easy enough, i just used quick connects and heat shrink tube. i also had to swap out one of the aiming devices because the new one wasnt threaded.

Yeah for some reason HID harnesses that are 9004/9007 always come pre-pinned for 9004 which is annoying lol

I'm curious, did you use the factory Ford headlights for your retro or aftermarket ones??
