well i still have yet to find my miss fire.. but the newsest 2 things are, oil pressure diffrence some days it will run good high oilpressure as in" NORMAL" at the A in normAl then sometimes it wants to stay at about nOrmal the O when its at the O the miss seems to be a bit deeper... but reacently if any moisture gets near my engine compartment it has a 2 stage revlimitter.. as in if i put the petal to the metal it starts bucking and backfiring but if i let off a hair it clears up and pulls fine. all electrical plugs have diaelectric grease in them and they are clean and dry.. so i cant figure this out any help will be appreciated greatly

Well, it sounds like your have some bare wires under there..

The oil pressure gauge is just an analog idiot light. The oil pressure "switch" closes at 5psi or so which puts the sending unit wire to ground. There is a resister on the back of the gauge cluster that will about center the needle.

So, in order for your gauge to be reading differently the reference voltage getting to the gauge or the ground getting to the gauge has to be changing.

Since you have running issues when there is water there I'd say you have electrical issues..

I'd take a spray bottle and spray around the engine compartment (one section at a time) and see if you can find where the problem area is.
